While this is not the way we, at Eyeballs, prefer to make eyeglasses, it is sometimes necessary in order to help out someone who is not able to come into our shop due to health issues.
To have eyeglasses done by mail you will need the following:
1. a current eyeglass prescription from your eye doctor.
2. your Pd or pupliary measurement. This can be gotten from your eye doctor or by sending us an old pair of your eyeglasses.
We only feel comfortable in making single vision lenses for our "by mail" customers. This would be distance, reading or computer lenses only. If you need bifocals or progressive lenses, please call or email me to discuss your individual situation.
Our "by mail frames" range in price from $30 to $60. Our "by mail stock plastic lenses" prices range from $30 to $80 for a pair of lenses.
Postage and handling will run $10 as we ship via UPS.
